In addition, Compton & Wendler, P.C., has provided expert testimony in cases dealing with environmental torts. We made one of the first applications under the Texas Natural Resource Commission’s Voluntary Compliance Program to clean up the former Winn’s Stores, Inc. Headquarters site that had extensive pollution from a Texaco refinery. We have successfully restored other environmentally troubled properties to enable their sale.
