Compton & Wendler Welcomes Valuation Analyst Rob Sanders

HOUSTON – Compton & Wendler, P.C., is pleased to announce that investment and finance adviser Rob Sanders has joined the accounting firm as a valuation analyst.

Mr. Sanders will focus on preparing equity and other intangible asset valuations, with additional responsibilities for forensic matters. He joins Compton & Wendler from J.P. Morgan Private Bank where he was an investment specialist, providing investment recommendations, market commentary and portfolio performance evaluation to clients.

Before that, Mr. Sanders was responsible for valuation research, cost and pricing trend analysis, financial forecasting and audit support for companies including Capital Group, Allianz and GEICO.

“Rob adds additional valuation training and expertise to our practice, improving the value we provide clients,” said Jeff Compton, founder and shareholder at Compton & Wendler. “The skills, training and expertise he brings in financial analysis, market trend research and business value determination will complement our existing services, particularly in the areas of business litigation, contract disputes and forensic accounting.”

Mr. Sanders earned an MBA with a concentration in finance and asset management from the Darden Graduate School of Business at the University of Virginia. His undergraduate degree is in mathematics from Duke University. Mr. Sanders is also a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society.
